Raja Singh, born in 1991 in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, is a shining example of how passion and perseverance can shape a life beyond expectations. Hailing from a modest background, he is the proud son of Mr. Sukhchain Singh and Mrs. Ranjeet Kaur. Though his early academic journey led him to pursue engineering in Jabalpur, it was clear from the beginning that his heart belonged to music.
While studying engineering, Raja never let go of his dream. He diligently pursued Indian classical music training alongside his academic commitments, keeping his passion alive through every phase. After five years of dedicated musical learning, he decided to take a leap of faith and moved to Delhi, a city known for opportunities and challenges alike.
The Turning Point
In Delhi, Raja faced significant struggles, but his commitment to music never wavered. His relentless efforts bore fruit when he earned a position as a Music Mentor at the prestigious Indian Idol Academy. This milestone became the first of many, as Raja received his first major recognition — the Sangeet Shiromani Award, honoring his growing impact in the music community.
With a desire to create a nurturing space for aspiring musicians, Raja founded Sadhak Academy of Professional Performing Arts in 2016. His academy stands on the philosophy of "Nurturing Potential. Delivering Professionals," offering structured, high-quality music training to transform talent into professionals.
The Mentor & Visionary
Currently, Mr. Raja Singh is imparting his knowledge and experience as a Music Mentor at Vivekanand School, Anand Vihar, New Delhi. His mission is clear — to guide, inspire, and transform lives through the power of music.
Raised in a rural environment, Raja’s story is a testament to how determination can rewrite destiny. He strongly believes:
